You're ready for your career pivot, and you've landed an interview. But how do you talk about your entertainment background in a way that resonates with employers outside the industry? Career coach Jessica Oviedo will help you identify and communicate your transferable skills so you can interview with confidence.

Jessica Oviedo is a Career Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals build the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to navigate the job search and make successful career transitions. Her expertise includes career counseling, coaching, teaching, and workforce development, with a particular focus on supporting adult learners, mid-career professionals, and individuals navigating changes in their career path. As a recent Job Connect Plus Instructor for the City of Burbank, Jessica developed and facilitated workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and networking, for professionals re-entering the workforce and those seeking new career opportunities. She currently serves as Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Career Education and Development at UCLA.  She holds a B.A. in Psychology-based Human Relations from Connecticut College and an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University.
